Emma obtained her bilingual bachelor's degree in psychology at York University, and continued on to obtain her Master's degree at Yorkville University. Throughout her studies, Emma gained working experience in community & residential organizations, working with individuals with diverse issues related to mental health.
Prior to obtaining her bachelor's degree, Emma studied early childhood education, and worked with children for 6 years as an early childhood educator. She has ample experience working with individuals with disabilities, ranging from autism to acquired and traumatic brain injury.
Emma believes that obtaining mental wellness requires balance and self-reflection. She has a warm and approachable demeanor and can incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions that are tailored to her client's needs. These include client-centered, solution focused, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
